Smile Makeover Tooth Shaping Veneers White Fillings Teeth Whitening Frcatured Crec Crown Composite Build up-challenging

Lovely lady in her 80’s was brought to our practice by relatives. While she could eat, her front teeth were rapidly deteriorating.

After taking into account several factors our solution was simple. Single visit rapid appointment. ALL teeth were repaired with composite adhesively bonded restorations without numbing anaesthesia. The bite was carefully adjusted so that the load was equally balanced. The teeth were protected, the chewing improved, the jaw joint position corrected and the smile was better too! With our thanks to the amazing scientists that have given the profession such durable, robust and aesthetic materials.

We didn’t achieve the finish we normally aspire to…patient was understandably keen to finish.

Gum and composite reshaping Ant Composite stains

These stains were ruining the smile. Solution …mild enamaloplasty ( long name for micro sand blasting the top bit to remove surface stains) and then a skim of white filling to mask and protect.

Composite build up

EM had chipped front teeth and came to us for advice regarding veneers or crowns. We suggested that some white fillings placed at the edge to improve length and shape would suffice. White composite fillings were bonded onto existing teeth and the bite balanced carefully.

The result is a lovely smile with no damage!

Composite edge build up

Chipped front teeth can be easily corrected with modern materials. Original tooth is retained, the missing portions are “added” on using adhesive dentistry. It is sensitive free so no Anaesthesia is required.

JP presented with broken down and stained tooth. It was a misshapen enamel that had collapsed.

Composite tooth coloured material was used to repair and enhance. No Anaesthetic was required due to minimal invasive technique.

Composite Veneers

JL wanted to correct the gaps between her teeth as well as “improve” her smile.

The teeth were a lovely colour, size and shape. We did not wish to disturb this harmony or touch the tooth. Fortunately improvements in materials allowed us to “simply” use adhesive bonding of white fillings onto existing teeth. NO tooth was removed NO anaesthetic is required! Just smiles and hugs afterwards

MI composite Ant veneers-smile change Diastema closure

MM had a large gap between his front teeth and a front crown that was a wrong colour.

After careful analysis, we concluded that we could replace a crown and place a single contact lens thick veneer to improve the smile. Judge for yourself. Thanks as ever to RT our Technician for his skills.

Internal Bleaching

DH decided to have some treatment for the tooth that darkened gradually following Root Canal treatment. He did wish for intervention, so we used a process of bleaching the tooth. The results were as patient wished. HOWEVER, it has been noted that the process can reverse with time.

Lower veneers

Upgraded FOUR lower stained filled with Porcelain facings using Veneers. These do not stain. We further corrected both colour as evened out the arch form. Two weeks and Two visits later..

JK attended for replacement of failed veneers. These had been in place for several years, but is unusual to see this type of failure. We identified the cause to be mainly a design and adhesive failure so were confident to suggest replacements. Crowns are highly invasive for cosmetic solutions so we were keen to avoid this alternative.

Old Bridges-new

HW had treatment for accident on her front teeth several years back. We decided that we would replace FIVE crowns. To minimise severe intervention and extensive treatment, HW accepted that the two of her right teeth would not align as well as we would like. She was happy to proceed and delighted at the improvement

CN wanted to improve her smile. She already had a bridge and veneers on her front teeth. We suggested a simple replacement. No additional work and further dental intervention is reduced.

We proposed correction in both the size and position as well as symmetry. RT our technician ensured that the porcelain used created the correct play with light. The results speak for them selves

FM requested solutions for space closure. Ideal solution is Tooth straightening with orthodontics. On this occasion, the patient opted for the quicker solution of FOUR front veneers. The tooth preparation in very minimal with good care and design. The results speak for themselves

JC wished to improve her smile. She had had many consultations with different dentists and did not wish Orthodontic treatment. Having discussed all options in detail, we were able to provide very minimal facings (veneers) to balance the smile

JR presented for Smile design. The case was particularly challenging as many aspects needed attention. Colour, Broken repaired teeth, Midline slope etc

We managed to improve the smile with very minimal intervention. Only FOUR Veneers were placed. The canine teeth had white fillings placed near gum line and the whole mouth was lightened using take home tooth whitening.

MN did not wish to undergo one and a half years of orthodontic treatment and an Implant to replace a missing front tooth from a childhood mishap.

We used FOUR Veneers to balance the proportions. In real life the midline shift is not as noticeable as the pictures and the patient recently had a 12 year review with no change. Very happy patient.

CC attended our practice on recommendation for a cosmetic solution. In keeping with our minimal intervention concepts, we placed two veneers on front teeth and a simple adhesive white (composite) filling to balance the front teeth. The dark baby tooth was extracted. Instead of an Implant we placed a non- invasive adhesive bridge.
